Surgical Wound Care

We treat wounds caused by a variety of factors, such as:

  • Arterial ulcers
  • Diabetic ulcers
  • Immune system conditions
  • Infections
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Spider or insect bites
  • Traumatic or surgical wounds
  • Vasculitis
  • Venous insufficiency

Provided with our close relationship with the In-Patient Wound & Ostomy Care nurses and the St. Joseph Wound Healing Center, we use a variety of techniques and innovative therapies to speed wound healing. You may benefit from:

  • Wound Care Service– A process wherein dead or damaged skin is removed to encourage healthy tissue growth.
  • Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)– We have had great success with this technique, in which suction is applied to the wound bed to remove excess fluid and promote healing. We are able to provide NPWT portable devices from different manufacturers, increasing your options and ability to meet your insurance requirements.
