Each of our surgeons has areas of special interest. These are listed below each surgeon's name.
Dr. VanderGriend is a Bellingham native. He returned to Bellingham in 1999 after completing his medical education at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a board certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Keith's wife is also from Whatcom county and they are proud parents of two sons. Dr. VanderGriend enjoys colorectal, advanced laparoscopic, and hernia procedures as well as emergent trauma care.
Dr. Miller began his practice with us in July 2006. He grew up on San Juan Island, Washington. His medical doctorate degree was obtained from Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Miller is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He brings to our practice expertise in advanced laparoscopic, oncology and hernia repairs. He and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters. **
Camille A. Miller
Dr. Miller started her practice with us in August 2008. She grew up on the west coast and has always wanted to live in the pacific northwest. She moved here with her husband and they are the proud parents of three daughters and a son. Dr. Miller received her medical doctorate from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Miller is Board Certified by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Miller is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. Her areas of special interest are benign and malignant breast disease, colorectal surgery and advanced laparoscopic. She is also director of St. Joseph's Wound Care Center.
Paul B. Fredette
Dr. Fredette began his practice with us September 1, 2009. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University. Dr. Fredette is Board Certified by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fredette enjoys the breadth of general surgery with special interests in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic hernia repair. Dr. Fredette's wife, Renay, is a local family physician. They came to Bellingham for love of the great outdoors. They are proud parents of three young daughters.
